Songwriter's Notes: A poignant song that was inspired by the courageous 29 year old U.S. Army Sgt. Dennis Weichel, killed in Afghanistan in 2012. This tune is dedicated to all the heroes who gave their lives to preserve our freedom, to our military veterans, and to those who actively serve. The musical style fluctuates between a picking acoustic guitar in the verses, and electric guitar power chords in the chorus.
