If You Don't Love Me

Wish there was something I could do
To make things between us better
I want to prove my love to you
So we could be back together
I didn’t mean to hurt you like that
I don’t deserve to be taken back

If you don’t love me let me know
I’ll simply move on and let you go
And I might never love again
But if you feel the same way as I do
Well baby, now it’s up to you
Why can’t we start over again?

The first time I laid eyes on you
I knew I’d never be the same
And how you stole my heart away
Though I barely knew your name
It didn’t take me very long
‘Til I did you wrong

If you don’t love me let me know
I’ll simply move on and let you go
And I might never love again
But if you feel the same way as I do
Well baby, now it’s up to you

Through the window to my soul
You’ll see the fragile man I am
I’m reaching out - please take my hand

If you still feel I’m right for you
I’m asking for one more chance
Together we’ll make this dream come true
Just the way we planned
Future memories we’ll share
There’s still time if we still care

If you don’t love me let me know
I’ll simply move on and let you go
And I might never love again

Songwriter's Notes: Relationships can be complicated. This song is about a person dealing with love, and the willingness to let someone go if that love isn't mutual. Influenced by pop rock music styles from the 1980s, the song uses dual lead guitars that harmonize in the opening riff and instrumental break.
